Tonight marks the end of a chapter. My second daughter graduated from sixth grade and will be moving to the middle school. Very bitter sweet... They are now ready for more. They are ready to meet more people, have different teachers, I know from experience that they are ready to take one more step away. This graduation is especially meaningful because these sixth graders were the first to start as kindergarteners the year the school reopened. Seven years ago we moved here. Seven years ago she started school. She only has six years until she graduates High School. I watched her every move tonight, trying to take it in and commit it to memory. I'm very proud of her.
